I took Jake to see the surgeon on Wednesday, and he admitted him to the hospital right away. After many test, the upper scope showed he had sever gastritis, and a very bad stomach infection. He ended up with a NG tube and is being feed. They did do a emptying study yesterday, but the results are not back yet. They also did biopsies, we are waiting for results.
He's going home with the feeding tube, his protein levels were very low. Hopefully, we will be released on Monday or Tuesday, depending on when the feeding supplies are delivered.
