I finally met with the colorectal surgeon the other day. It was an okay visit nothing great and I did not leave with the feeling that he was the one to help. I then received a phone call from my GI doc who tole me the surgeon and she talked and he felt there was nothing he could do for me in the OR. Then she said she does not know what to do at this point. I was devastated and crying in the middle of Macy's. I am back at square one and no help again. My body is exhausted and I filled with sadness and tears. I think at this point I am taking things over and getting some help else where out of MA. The Mayo clinic? John Hopkins Center for motility? I do not know. All I know is I am still in daily pain, have gastroparesis, pelvic floor disorder, motility disorder and a bladder prolapse. All this and no guidance or light at the end of the tunnel. I am stunned. Any advice, help. or anything would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks, Carrie
