Hi. I have just experienced my second triploidy pregnancy. Last year I had a partial molar pregnancy, and I have just had my triploidy daughter, stillborn at 22 weeks. Immediately before the lat pregnancy I also lost another one at 6 weeks - cause of this miscarraige unknown. I am searching for answers and scared about the future. Has anyone else had a smiliar situation?
I have never heard of your type of pregnancy, but I want to tell you that you are in my prayers. My heart aches for your losses-I am so sorry and I hope that someone out there can give you some answers. God bless and keep you.
I am so very sorry for the loss of your pregnancies. Have you met with a local genetic counselor? If you need a referral let me know what large city is close to you and I will provide contact information.
Thank you. I am waiting for a meeting with the specialist, who will give us results from genetic testing. My concern is that I have no way of knowing whether or not everything possible is being done to give us some answers. For example, a sperm test hasn't been requested, which I though would have been standard. As this is so unusual it is hard to know what I should be expecting.
I suggest that you make a list of the questions you would like to discuss with the specialist. If you are not satisfied that your concerns have been addressed at this meeting, I would be happy to try to locate other facilities with appropriate experts.
