Please forgive me as the topic is misleading. The intent of my discussion is to glean what appears to be many different treatment avenues for Stiff Person Syndrome. Personally, I have been on almost every muscle relaxer known to the medical community, as well as Botox injections, accupuncture, anti-eplipsey medications and I am just wondering what everyone else is doing, and what seems to work best. Thus far, at least for me Valium is the hands down winner. While it helps my muscles to relax (most of the time), I then have to deal with the joint and muscle pain. With the onset of Lordis, this is becoming a much bigger issue as I cannot seem to straighten my neck up without a great amount of pain. The same can be said for my left hip and side, my hands, and my knees. Any thoughts on any or all of the above would be kindly welcomed.
