We are getting ready to bring home a baby who has been diagnosed with Syndromic Diarrhea in Early Infancy. Does anyone else here know anything about this rare disease?

Can I ask what other symptoms your baby has aside from the diarrhea?
She has ASD, VSD (holes in the upper and lower ventricles of the heart). She is TINY.. she had inutero growth retardation. She was born at 37 weeks and weighed 4 pounds. She is currently 4 months old and weighs 7 pounds. She can't hold the nutrients so she is not growing. They say she has dysformic facial features, however I do not feel that she does. I have a child that is missing a portion of her first chromosome. She has the flat nasal bridge and bulging forehead. I do not see the same features with this little one. ( We are adopting both girls. They are not related.)
