My 9 year old son has recently been diagnosed with Stargardts Disease. After being told for 2 years that his perceived vision loss was psychological and attention seeking, we sought another opinion and found out he is now losing his sight (they estimate within 2 years) and there is no cure or treatment. We are devastated. At the same time, I can appreciate it's not the worse thing that can happen and he does not get sick from this disease he just can't see well.
