Spect Scans and unexpected Kidney

0 Recommendations

Hello all,

I was wondering if any body could help me with a question I have regarding a spect scan I had back in Sept. of 2008. Now this spect scan was to be for my back, legs, and neck and came out to be negative so the doctor ruled it to be discogenic on the lumbar part.

Any way I was reading the rest of the report due to the fact that I needed it for an attorney and I didn't notice before that It read high for my right kidney. Now from what I have read that they put a nuclear dye and after time it settles in places that need looking into. Do you think I should see or tell my specialist now or wait till my next visit in January, 2010? I have been working to get insurance but to date have not been able to so any suggestions would begreatly appricated.

Thank you,
Diane

PS. OMG I forgot to put down the fact that in 2007 I had to have 2/3rds of my left kidney removed due to cancer. And I had a small mass that I go once a year now to have looked at. This January willl be the first time in a year that it has been so long.

Sorry too many thing going on in the old brains lately.

Diane
