Hello all, i would welcome any advice or help on this....
In September 08 i got out of bath face really burned on right cheek, after a few hours it settled on numbness to top teeth, bottom teeth, with cyst like lump on right lips (inside) still the same now.
Have seen doctors, (6, none of them know what it is), seen dentist, optician, still no clue apart from it could be a virus.
Seen Neurologist, doing tests, he seems to think it may be viral but not sure yet...(comforting lol)
Someone, somewhere in the world must have it? I would find it easier to cope with if I knew what it was...not knowing is the hard bit.
If I touch right side of face it feels like it swells up, but does not look like it? when relaxed it is easier, not getting pain, just discomfort and feels like face is huge...so confused on this please someone help me to understand what is wrong :(

Hey i don't know much about these symptoms but i do have a friend with lupus and the heat from a bath or sun makes her face stay red with a rash. Hot baths are not good for MS either as heat is suppose to be avoided. Good Luck with a dignosis after 14 yrs i am still waiting but i know GOD has a reason why its taking so long. I know how it feels to think your crazy and know something is really wrong. the not knowing has to be worse than knowing what you are dealing with. I'll pray for you and know God is with you. Bless

Thank you for your reply, I have been on loads of sites and no-one seems to know what it is...so scarey....:(
But after reading you profile my symptoms seem like nothing, i hope things getter better in the future for you. Please keep us updated and thinking of you :)
