Hi Rebecca - the Organic Acidemia Association is a parent support group for all organic acidemias. We have been around for over 20 years. There are no local support groups around the United States, since MMA is such a rare disease. If you are interested in learning and joining OAA - please visit our website at http://www.oaanews.org.
I welcome you to join our support group - we host an internet listserv, and have several families with MMA as members. I would be happy to connect you with other MMA families living in New York.
