Medicare Help

0 Recommendations

I am interested in talking with anyone who was already on TPN for gastroparesis before they became eligible for Medicare.

I become eligible in July and have been told that I do not meet Medicare's qualifications for TPN. I have been searching secondary insurance options but they are going to cost me the same as my OOBRA (extended COBRA) plan, which is almost $800 a month.

Was anyone able to get TPN covered by Medicare when they were already on it prior to getting the ins? We have not done enteral feeds because I need the fluids associated with the TPN to be delivered to my veins due to my autonomic dysfunction.

Sorry, if this is confusing, I am stressing out and overwhelmed.

Sincerely,
Sheridan
