I need some Help!!!! Been Tested many times EEG< EMG< MRI<CT W/ and W/O contrast<Extensive blood work all with a neg. result. Emory Medical center ruled out stiffman syndrome poss Issaac Syndrome. I have sever muscle contractions lasting from days to minutes. Nothing triggers my syntons my nero wants to do IVIG and Muscle Bio and then poss send me to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota anyone with simular outcome please let me know and what to expect and do
have they tested you for lymes disease?
Been tested and treated with antibotic even through the test came back neg.
I have a friend who was diagnosed with Lymes disease, after numerous negative tests, and she had similar symptoms. I guess the problem with Lymes disease is that the bacteria aren't always present in the blood stream so it's not uncommon for tests to come up negative. It took her 5 years to get the diagnosis, and1 1/2 years on antibiotics and other meds, but she is doing a lot better. I'm sorry to hear that your life has changed, and I sincerely hope that you find the answers you seek. It took me 4 years to get even a tentative diagnosis for my son, so I know what you are going through, truely I will pray for you, because it is a scarry road and sometimes prayer is all we have. I ended up having to take my son all the way to the NIH in Maryland to get the proper genetic tests and diagnosis and treatment. Don't give up!
