Human Parvo Virus B-19

0 Recommendations

I guess this is a good place to start.

Here are the basics.

55 years old
2 teenage daughters
disabled wife who works part-time
own my own bussiness
close to bankrupt
lost my insurance
no retirement money left
can't find a doctor that knows anything about it (this may not matter since I can't afford any medical help)
already tried for assistance (their comment to me was "you made 230000 last year" (expences were 260000) This system is set up for people that receive a pay check every 2 weeks and no one understands what is involved in a small business

Any Ideas?

I had Parvo about 18 months ago. Be encouraged, as it is a virus, it will run it's course. Most people are exposed to it as young children, when it manifests itself as "Fifth's disease" or "slapped cheek syndrome."

In adults, we feel quite ill, somewhat flu-ish, and exhausted., and our joints can ache Sometimes adults develop a fish-net or lacy looking pinkish/red rash on extemities. For me, that showed especially on my arms and became quite pronounced if I was warm or in the sun. While circumstances make it difficult, rest is the treatment you need most, there is no medication or vaccine needed.

Here is information about it, but keep in mind that it is primarily a children's disease and adult cases (like with most children's diseases) are more severe.

Jfajfa,
Did you try filing for social security? Montel has some kind of program for medications on his show. I'm not sure what has to be done but I certainly understand your situation.
