holiday zebra cards

I saw some beautiful zebra artwork on the web and wrote to the artist to request o zebra holiday card. She replied-

I would be happy to create a Zebra holiday card for you. As soon as I have something done (probably over the weekend) I'll send you a link.

I am looking forward to seeing them when they are finished. Thought others might be interested. I started collecting zebra stuff after I was diagnosed. The old, "When you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras" motto. At least they did not call us unicorns.

What a cute idea....I too heard that line from one of my doctors when I was diagnosed with Amyloidosis 2 1/2 years ago. I told him the saying really fits for me because I do volunteer work at our local zoo. I will most certainly check out the artwork of this lady. Thanks for the posting!

I am still waiting to hear from her. Others can certainly contact her as well...

In the meantime, I have taken the solid black wooden Ikea horse that I painted zebra stipes on, wrapped x-mas beads on it, placed it inside a pointsetta wreath on a white background and photographed it. Figured it would be my backup plan and I came up with a card using the photo.
