Dercum's Disease life of pain

Hello I am a Dercum's patient who is trying to find anything I can about this disease to help myself and others who suffere from it. If you have painful lipomas then you probably suffer from this disease . You just need to educate or find a doctor who knows about it. It affects all types of people old post it stated it effects mostly obesity but they find that is not true anymore. It is a fat disorder but doesn't mean you need to be fat to have it . There are 3 different types but all are the same with one shared symptom is these fatty deposits are painful. Most physicians will tell you have fibromyalgia ( you can have both) or doctors dismiss these painful movable lumps or nodules underneath your skin as being nothing. if your looking to find out about this disease or know anyone who sufferes you come to the right place. but the down side is there is know known treatment so it is up to us sufferes by trial and error to find out till research can what helps us the most . but please let us know if you suffer from painful lumps or nodules beneath the skin you don't need to see them just feel them.
