Having a bad day

I went to the dr because my joints started to pain and he put me on Prednisone. Now my joint pain is still the same and i have lower backpain aswell. I take 4 prednisone pills (20mg) every night, not helping. Wake up with pain during the night. And i need to go work Monday. Dredding that while in pain and tired. I am 30 yrs old and feel like a train went over me,!!!
