pprom: 28week update!

Cannot believe I'm 28 weeks! Considering my baby was written off at 18weeks when my waters went, we've come so far. Not much change really, other than I get much more positive vibes off my consultant!! I'm still at home thankfully and trying to do very little and going to the clinic at hospital 2/3 times a week. Due my next scan next wednesday, the last one showed baby still growing ok but still breech. My doc says baby is highly unlikely to turn due to the lack of fluid and room. So I'm looking at a C-section and most likely a classical one (vertical incision), I'm dreading it to be honest because he said it will be 'difficult.' He couldn't see the chest size well enough on the last scan so can't say if that has improved any, but we're not gonna know about the lungs really until its born anyway. Baby continues to be madly active, the last time I was on the monitor on wed, they couldn't get a decent trace because baby would not stop moving around! Here's hoping I have determined little fighter on my hands. :) My doc says if I get to 30 weeks he'll be happy, a few weeks ago he gave us 5% chance so 5% to happy is good enough for me! Fingers crossed the next two weeks is uneventful. Thanks to all those who post their support and best wishes, it means so much. xxxxxxx Beth
