hypoplastic left heart syndrom

I'm 25weeks pregnant and I found out that my son heart is under developed. The left side is smaller than the right side. Meaning that he will have to have heart surgery the first few days of his life. I'm so sad but I'm hoping that the doctors tell me that it's normal now and surgery isn't nessesary. Is that possible? Can his heart develop regular from now till it's time for him to be born.? Please help I need support guidence please help me.

Hey, im jessica. well, i dont honestly know if he will have to have surgery but most people that are born with hypoplastic is usually have surgery. i was born with hypoplastic left syndrome i had it when i was a month old and now im 19 years old and doing wonderful. they say its congenital so who ever has heart problems that how they get hypoplastic heart syndrome.
