Hello, I am taking Heparin, (previous miscarriage 5 1/2 months placenat abruption) Currently I am 7 weeks pregnant and I take daily injections in the belly to prevent clotting, I have a blood clotting disorder called Anti-Cardiolipin, the shots aren't to bad, you just get some brusing. If you were tights instead of jeans you don't bruise. There is controvery over whether the shots do anything or not but I figured if there is a chance it helps I'll take it. I'm on a really low dose 2500 mg and I take a baby aspirin and preg vit folic 5 and calcium supplements everyday! If you have any more questions about the shots feel free to ask.
