Having Twins

Has anyone had twins? Did you have a vaginal birth?

My sister had fraternal twin boys in 2001 vaginally. She made it to 37 weeks and the boyrs were 5.11 and 6.4. They were roughly 25 mins apart.

I am expecting BG twins but am doing a C b/c my previous 2 children were born C's plus one twin is breech. I've been on hospital bedrest since 21 weeks for IC and preterm labor and I am now almost 28 weeks.

Good luck whichever route you choose!

I am almost 33 weeks and have had no sign of labor yet. I am having identical twins. One is breech and one is vertex. I really wanted to have a vaginal birth because that is what my first baby was and it was so easy to recover from.

I had quadrupletss in february... heck no!

I have heard tho, that having twins vaginally is not that much different than one (but i wouldnt know personally!). Talk to your dr about it, c-section may be required depending on the situation.

My mum had twins full term vaginally with no complications and that was a long time ago without knowing she was carrying twins coz then there were no scans. She had them one after another and they were both fine. If you dont have any complications then go for natural, its just the same as having one. Good luck!

I had twins on 2/19 at 30 weeks. I had to search very hard to find a doctor willing to consider a vaginal birth! She was on board for it but unfortunatly my water broke early and they were born via emergency csection. the best advice i can give you is EAT and eat healthy! I drank protein shakes to keep my boys growing! You never know if they might come early and you want them to be as big as possible!!! I reccomend susan nobles book regarding multiple birthing if you want to try a vaginal birth!!!!
