"Eat your vegetables," I said to my kids recently. As I watched their reactions, I thought to myself how often do I remind myself to eat my vegetables? Over the next several days, I made a conscious effort to eat my vegetables for breakfast,lunch, snacks and dinner. Whenever I reached for something,I listened to that small voice that said,"Remember to eat your vegetables." That "voice" was a great accountability tool to help me stay on track. Now, whenever I remind my kids to eat their vegetables, I listen to my own "voice" and enjoy a serving or two myself.
