Found a stroller that actually converts to a diaper changing

Well, it seems like these things always happen when you least expect it. We were out at the mall the other day and had some major shopping to get done, you know birthdays, wedding presents etc. So of course mid-way through my son needs a major diaper change. We search for the bathroom on our floor but, of course have to go up a level after that bathroom was too crowded. By this point he’s starting to get really fussing! We finally locate the bathroom and race in only to find a changing table disaster-ugghhh. So now our only option is to go back to the car and change him there, which is a long smelly walk since we went out of our way to get to the bad bathroom! Of course he has to be raining now and I had to change my son and get soaked while doing it. At that point I just packed everyone up and went home, exhausted and frustrated.
So after that incident I decided to look for something online that could solve my diaper dilemma. I think I found just the thing, that’s why I couldn’t wait to share it with you guys. There’s a stroller out now that actually turns into a diaper changing station so you always have a place to change the baby!! It’s called the BabyDeck by Abiie (www.mybabydeck.com)
The stroller seat is so cool- it actually reclines and you just flip part of the seat out to reveal a waterproof mat that’s easy to clean. When you’rr done with diaper duty in folds back into a seat just like that. They actually have a video of it converting on the website and it really looks super easy.

I can’t believe howmuch time and frustration it would have saved me if Ihad this stroller that day at the mall. .I hate going into public bathrooms anyway s because you just never know what you are going to find, sometimes there isn’t even a changing table. I know my dh has dealt with this problem in a lot of men’s bathroom. Plus it’s a real hassle when I have to drag my other kids into those cramped and crowded store bathroom to change the baby. Theme parks have got to be the WORST!!

I’d would love to hear from others who have had a “diaper changing disaster” while out. I know there must be somee interesting stories out there!

One thing I read on the BabyDeck website that really surprised me was about how if you use a changing pad on a public bathroom changing table which is contaminated with bacteria, you could actually be spreading more bacteria because that changing pad will probably wind up back in your diaper bag with all the other stuff like bottles and pacifiers. Eeewww!

Oh, I just thought about picnics and other outdoor stuff. That’s when this stroller is really going to come in handy. We love to do family hikes at and it seems like there is always either a softball or soccer game to go to. I hate to admit it, but I usually have to go back to the car to change by son’s diaper in the front seat-you can’t believe how many times he’s either pulled on the emergency brake or adjusted the rear-view mirrors. With the BabyDeck though I won’t have to trudge all the way back to the car. I’m lovin’ this product. I wish I thought of it though!
