Emma was born on the 11 9 09. She was born with a condition named gastroschisis. Her first op was only two hours after a natural birth to open up the hole in which her intestine was protruding out of. Five days later after Emma had had her silo bag, she was operated on again to replace her intestine back into her tiny body. She remained in ICU for seven weeks before going to a different ward to recover. There were many ups and downs progression and digression, but eventually she came home. We were all extatic.
