At what age did your baby start walking? Also when did your child walk with assistance or along furniture? My son just leans and eventually falls and will not move his feet from where they are planted. He's 10.5 actual, 8.5 adjusted

Don't worry - he's got tons of time. I believe most kids walk around 12-15 months (adjusted).
My son is 16 months actual and 14 adjusted and is not walking independently. He can't stand independently either, but he does cruise. He crawls really, really fast though.
Henry pulled to a stand at 8 months adjusted.
He walked independently at 13 months adjusted.
From what I gather, his walking age was perfectly average, meaning that 50% of kids walk later than 13 months (adjusted as always for preemies).
My little guy:
Pulled to a stand-8 mos.
Cruising-9 mos.
Walking indep-12 1/2 mos.
From the pic it looks like he is standing. That is great! Definitely adjust his age for prematurity. He will be off and running before you know it:-)
Henry walked at 16 months, corrected. Even after he started walking it took some time before he was able to stand independently without falling down. He had probably been pulling himself to a stand for 2 months prior to that. It sounds like your son has plenty of time!! My friends FT son didn't start walking until he was 18mo. I have a friend w/ a late term preemie (36wks) who didn't start walking until she was almost 2yrs! She is 7yrs now and is perfectly fine!
I think he is doing great. I work in a daycare with babies and toddlers(full term babies) and most of them start trying to walk at 12-13 months and it takes them a while to walk really good without falling all the time.
Dylan, my 28wker walked at 14mths actual(12mths corr) and Elijah 25wker finally this week
he walked and he is 18ths old( 15mths corr)

My daughter walked at 10 mos actual. I believe that is a bit early. She was crusing for a while before that. I think it sounds like your baby has plenty oftime!
I'm just hoping he walks sooner than later, I just really want him walking by the time he's 15 months actual when his sister is arriving. I'm hoping he's walking by maybe 13 months actual which gives him a little time to perfect his walk and be able to actually walk next to me.
My little guy didn't walk until 20 months (adjusted). That is his only delay - he's also still really small - I don't know if that had anything to do with it...
