Hi guys! I have a very very urgent prayer request. Not related to my little one but for on of our pastors daughters. On Monday doctors discovered that 5 year old Kate McRae has a brain tumor. They have done several prelim tests and believe it is malignant but are waiting for results from Pathology to confirm everything for sure. As I type this doctors have begun their first craniotomy to try and remove some of the tumor however unfortunately because of the location of it they cannot remove it all. So they are hoping it will be one that will respond to further treatment. Only 2000 children per year in the US are diagnosed with brain tumors of ALL kinds so there are doctors at hospitals across the country that are working on her case as well as the amazing doctors at Phoenix Childrens Hospital.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for Kate, her family, and the many doctors working on her case. No 5 year old should ever have to go through anything like this. This is every parents worst fear. Youy can find more information on their caring bridge at
