Todays's the day ! Jonathan is having laser surgery for ROP stage III with Plus Disease. I'm absolutely terrified, I know the chances are very good that this will take care of it but I can't stop my head from freaking out ! Prayers needed...

Jonathan tolerated the surgery very well. He is still on the ventilator while he ''wakes up'' from the procedure (we know from previous experience it take him longer to recover from the effects of the morphine). The surgeon said she said to use about 1100 rays which was more than average but he had significant ROP. She said it was positive that she was able to laser everyting she needed too but that we would have to wait and see, it's usually about ten days before they'll see an improvement.
