This is Eli's second winter. He was denied Synagis because he was "too healthy".
Then two weeks ago we had a trip to the ER where he got breathing treatments and oral steroids. Apparently, since this happened before Nov. 1st he will now qualify for the Synagis.
Not sure if this will help anyone else that was denied by insurance, but if the child has oral steriods and breathing treatments before the official start of RSV season for your area, then you might qualify for the shots.

I tried to and my lo ped said no, which is dumb since she is 4mths, 10pds and had rsv 3 months ago, my insurance will pay for it. I just think she doesn't like to be second guessed
