How contagious is the reg. flu?

0 Recommendations

My good friend who me and my son have been around pretty much every single night and specifically two nights ago for a long time has the flu and stomach virus. They said it's just regular flu. But another military wife and I went over to watch her 18 month old while she went to the ER (she's also pregnant and had a fever of 103) oh also our husbands are deployed. We santitized everything in her house we could think of, handles, light switches ect. What's our chances of getting the flu? Neither have been vaccinated because we're both getting over being sick. He's a 10 month/8 month adjusted baby and I'm 18 weeks pregnant with NO ONE to help me, except of course the wife that's pregnant as well who has the flu already. What are my chances of spreading the flu right now? Could I be a carrier? I'm a SAHM so it's not like I have a lot to do but I do have to buy groceries, formula and diapers. Maybe I'm freaking out too much.

Here are some ways to prevent getting sick, even if you've been exposed. The virus has to multiply and make it's way into your body, so if you follow these steps, you can stay healthy. Good luck!
