Facebook Group for Minnesota Parents

Hello everyone,
I've been looking for ways to connect with other parents of preemies in Minnesota. Thankfully, we have http://www.minnesotapreemies.com as a resource, but I find that it's easier to connect on Facebook (since I'm on there all the time anyway! :) )

So I started a new, private group on Facebook called MN Preemie Parents.

Please join us! It's a safe, fun, easy place to connect and share stories, get advice, and support each other.

I look forward to meeting you!

Cool! I am replying so that I bump this conversation up to the top for you . . . and do you mind if I post this on the PreemieWorld Facebook page, Twitter, and other groups that I run and am on socially?

I hope you all get a chance to meet up at one point . . . are you hoping to create a non-profit? If so, let me know and I will continue to help get it out there and get you connected with the preemie support communities. :)

Hi Deb,
Thanks! Right now, I'm just looking to connect with other local families, but eventually, it may morph into a non-profit of some kind. I'm fairly new out of the NICU experience (after a 93 day NICU stay, my 23 weeker has been home for almost 3 months), so I've got a lot of healing to do myself! I write a blog that helps me work through things and keep things into perspective. I love it and I love connecting with other's who have "been there." The link to the blog is: http://anearlystart.wordpress.com/.

Please feel free to post either link anywhere you see fit.
Have a great day,
~Andrea

I hope you due find one local also on facebook there is a site called grahms foundation they have been a little helpful.

Yay! This sounds great. We were just discharged from Rochester NICU a week ago. Hopefully we can get more parents on board.

No problem they are really sweet just being discharged is scary. But it gets better
