Lately when my daughter is hungry, she takes some milk and then is no longer interested. She starts to suck on her hands as if she's still hungry or open her mouth trying to suck on my cheeks. When I try to give her the bottle, she spits it out, rolls her tongue, turns her head from side to side, cries, and pushes the bottle away with her hands.
I keep on trying to give her the bottle until she finally latches on and starts drinking. Sometimes it works and she finishes the bottle and sometimes she spits out the bottle again.
Some facts:
-She is 5 months/2.5 adjusted
-not diagnosed with reflux
-On neosure
-eats 5-6 times a day 2-4 oz each time
-I use dr.browns bottles with level 2 nipples
-She's had issues with constipation the past 3 weeks (using prune juice to help)
I've heard to switch to level 3 nipple. Not sure if nipple is the issue since at her night feedings, she does not have this issue at all. I asked her doc and she didn't really seem to know or be concerned. Whats going on with her?
