We are having to shop for a new car seat for our daughter. I was looking online and saw this new carseat by safety 1st. I saw it in the store today and it looks pretty nice but the reviews online are mixed regarding installing it rearfacing. Just wondering if anyone has bought this carseat and their opinion on it, or if you have any suggestions for a good/better one.
I like evenflo. I cannot and refuse to pay over 200 for a carseat. We have the symphony and the truimph. i did want to get a first years true fit but decided we didn't need it.
We have the safety first air protect car seat and love it!
I don't know much about the Safety 1st since it's new and it's been awhile since I've had to research car seats, but if you can spend the money on one, you can't go wrong with a Britax. Some of them are on the pricey side, but the Roundabout starts at $199, I believe.
Bought our brand new Britax Roundabout for $150.00 w free shipping ...trying to remember the baby website, but if you go on amazon.com -it will give you the sites that also sell this particular car seat.
I love my Britax Roundabouts for the girls. Don't know about the one you're looking at. Good luck!
I can't speak for the one your looking at....but we have the first years true fit and Izabella loves it, as do we!
I just bought a Cosco Scenera for $45 at Wal-Mart. All of the reviews I've found are all very positive - and I've also heard that Consumer Reports rates it as high as Britax. :)
we got the Graco Nautilus and love it. The Air is too new for me to try. Comes in pretty colors, though!
FYI on the Cosco Scenera - we purchased this one first too, thinking "what a bargin!"...however it was not stable in our honda accord no matter how we tried to anchor it....even brought it to our FD and they couldn't install it with out it tipping over either! We ended up returning it and going with the first years true fit which is awesome!
