Adam is one year old today!

Today is Adam's first birthday! We had fun party for him on Halloween, and several friends came in costume!
I went into labor the night after my baby shower. We got home, unloaded the car, and I noticed I was spotting. I thought it was just from a busy day, but we went to the hospital just in case. I was shocked when they told me I was 2 cm dialated and contracting. I never thought I was in labor! I held him in for 1 week before he was born at 30
weeks 5 days. He was in the NICU for 45 days.
One year later, he's great. He's very close to his adjusted age. He's getting PT and OT to help with some weakness. He's pulling up on everything, and loves to play with his toys. And he's a social butterfly.
Will I always worry? Do I wish I could undo things and erase the NICU from his life? Yes! But he's my Adam and
in my opinion the best little boy un the world.
Thanks you for all your support over the last year! I wish I found this site when he was in the NICU!
By the way, his "other" birthday will be Jan 5th
