Hello My name is Charmaine and I am a mother of an 8yr old 2 time stroke survivor. He had his first stroke at the age of 6 on May 3, 2006 in the Pons of the brain. Then another one in Aug of 2006 on the other side of his Pons all due to 3 genetic blood clotting mutation problems. He is doing great! We are so blessed.
I have a 10 year old son, who had a stroke in June 2008, when he was 9. It was due to an Arterioveneous Malformation (AVM). It was in his hindbrain. He is doing great now.
