Liemmercial?

Has anyone noticed the lies and violence that infest our media now days? I have watched commercials that uses lies and violence to sell there products. Like the man comes home at 5am trying to sneak into bed but when his mate wakes up he eats some candy and pulls his pants back up and says something like "big day today" his mate smiles and goes back to sleep!
Here is one with both violence and lies used to sell the product, Two men at a gas station getting gas and a candy bar (I will call Snackers) are ready to leave when the one man comes out of the store with a sack in hand and tells the other man they didn't have Snackers, The now angry candy bar recipient then picks up a garbage can and heaves it at a parked car, then the man with sack in hand says but they do have Snackers Dark.
Just one more example is, for some reason a group of mothers are so mad at the Hamburger King that they hire a hit man to kill the king, luckily the king was able to get away.
If I was able to have children I would not allow them to watch T.V. when they are in the influentially comprehensive learning stage of life. Is this what we want our Children to learn?
