I am not down and out I am up and coming
I am not defeated I am a victor
I am not disabled I have been re-abled to do better things
I am not a drain on society I m a contributing member
I am in pain but I m not a pain
I am in a wheelchair but it does not define me
I have a spinal cord injury, it does not have me
I hear negative talk (some in my own head) but I do not have to heed its voice.
It seems like the world is against me but I choose to move ahead in faith and hope for better days
Life is about choice, we are as happy as we choose
Decisions determine destiny, today I decide I will be happy, I will overcome, I will not give in to all the negative insanity around me, I will enjoy life to the best of my ability, I will have faith and hope that thing will get better.
