Protesting the need to read

1 Recommendation

Friends at http://www.spinalcord.org/ informed me about the threat of not giving individuals with disabilities the same equal opportunities as others when it comes to learning and having the chance of reading from speech to text. I hope you will find interest in sharing, this subject may not effect many other with the ability to hold books and see words, but it may be something you may need that will exist because you support the fight today.

Rock-on ProfessirX. From 94-98 I worked at the Missouri Library for the Blind & Physically Handicapped as their first Reference Librarian. My sight-challenged patrons welcomed the service and taught me many ways of 'looking' at the printed word. Good piece.

thanks twis.

Hello Profesor X - I signed the petition and past to my friends. Please keep us posted as to the results of this effort! Thanks for your efforts.

My Dad is losing his sight due to diabetes... He loves to read. He cannot really use a CD player to play the books. His hands have terrible use due to Parkinsons... is there anything out there to give him back some of his freedom and enjoy reading again?
