Hi, Bruce I'm Tim I got one from a Co. that deals just in door openers, the cost was about 1500-2000 $. I'm not sure if medicare or caid will pay for this but there is different organiztions that you can get funds from. If you have a caseworker they would know this anwser. If you have section 8 they might help or ssdi might .Let me know how you make out. I would like to make a friend request. Thanks Tim-quadyame

What an awesome idea! I need one of those, as a c5/c6 quad, with limited hand function.
