Myelitis Stroke Physical therapy

Sheila,

Your son's condition is difficult to diagnose and is very rare. Transverse Myelitis means inflammation across the spinal cord. It's causes can be autoimmune
in which the immune system attacks the spinal cord
or something particular to an individual. In my case
it was an aterio venis malformation, which is also
called a stroke of the spine. It's is a tough condition
to live with, but your son is young and he will walk
again. You and your son have to believe that.

hi :)
your son does NOT need a psychiatrist.he needs rehab.if this is transverse myelitis or if its m.s.again,in order to diagnose m.s. an mri is needed.mri with gadolineum on t-2 flair to enhance the bright spots typical of m.s. or t.m.
best of luck and lots of hugs and prayers to you and your son :)

thank you so ;much god bless
