Need mouse for quad

0 Recommendations

My brother needs a mouse so he can do facebook and Age of Empires. He tried using the laptop with the touch screen mouse (using a mouth stick) but it apparently has a heat sensor. So far, I found one for $700, a little out of our price range.
He found a cool Nintendo controller that was converted and wants one kind of like that.
Any suggestions?

Take a look at TetraMouse http://tetramouse.com/
$250 ($315 to $330 w/mount).

Cool! Thanks.

I have a Kensington "Expert Mouse Pro" that we got at Fry's for about $100. Try this link to order online http://www.buyonlinenow.com/viewproduct.asp?SKU=KMW64325

It took me a little time to master it, but now I use mine all day at work. Maybe it will work for your brother. I see they also have a wireless version...

Does he also have Dragon Naturally Speaking, by Nuance, a voice recognition software? It will save him a lot of shoulder stiffness once he trains it a bit. I have version 9.0 that took only a little training. Version 10.0 is probably even better. I only paid $50 at Costco for it.

What a great sister you are! When we quads have the kind of support you are giving your brother, we thrive. Keep it up!
God bless,

I can say I trully never wished this happened to him. However, our family is really close now. This kind of forces you to start talking more (and yelling every now and then). Maybe it's not so much that we are "closer," but that we realized how close we were and how much we care.
I'm being partially selfish in the mouse-quest, though. I totally want to get him on facebook and get him to play the games that my friends have gotten me addicted to. He's more wanting to use it for Age of Empires (and probably regular browsing as well).
Our house recently got hit by lightening and took out all of our computers. I do remember them ordering Dragon Naturally Speaking, I think it was version 10. I played with an earlier version and know about the training.
Thank you for the suggestion. I'm definitely forwarding it on.
