Men and Women of Steal
That steal being what our wheelchairs are made out of for many of us using them in our lives everyday. Like Kal-El, he got his steal from living on Earth and his life was changed and he sometimes also felt alone and left out of what we considered normal. However we see it, as a gift and a curse or a curse being a gift, like Kal-El we can chose to use this steal to save lives.
It doesn’t just mean saving a life is by stopping bullets, but stopping someone from using them bullets on themselves. People sometimes give up and many times there might not be anything physically wrong with them, they just feel without purpose. It can be that person you see everyday smiling but when they get behind closed doors they’re crying or that child who isn’t going through school too easy, who gets bullied and picked on and doesn’t tell anyone and gives up.
Kal-El couldn’t save every life but he saved a world with his steal. That's what many of us try to do everyday by going on with our lives despite the steal we must live with. They Rally, advocate, play sports, tell jokes, lift weights and sing to not just overcome their obstacles but hoping what they do inspires others to overcome their obstacles as well.
Sure like Kal-El, as strong as they seem they have weaknesses to. something that with having this power also has something that weakens their strength. Kal-El is weakened by Kryptonite , many of us are weakened by Autonomic Dysreflexia. We all share the life of the Man of Steal, something that weakens us and something or someone that gives us strength.
Whatever reason we use our lives to save others and what we do to cure our Earth , we are brothers and sisters among each other with Kal-El, so the next time you look at that steal you sit in, remember the real steal is inside you like Kal-El.
