fund raisers for camp

My friends and I go to an awesome camp each year called Camp Adventure. It's a Christian camp for the physically disabled. Every year we do fund raisers to cover the cost of camp. I save and collect empty ink cartridges to be recycled. This is is easy for me because I am a graphic artist. I also save Best Choice labels. We also ask locall businesses for support. Does anyone out there have any ideas of how my friends and I could make the funds to support our camp? What works for you?

Hey Goldy,

That's good that you're trying something to raise money for camp. With today's economy crisis and everything, every little bit helps no matter how we get it. I know just before my wound accident last year, my sister and brother-in-law helped send me to a Christian camp. I'm sure they would still do that if I wanted to go but as I said earlier, with the economy, who could afford such high prices. The price for the one I go to is this year alone $400. It seems no matter what your handicap, prices of everything sky rocket more that those who are able-bodied. Anyway, good luck with your endeavor to raise the money and have fun at camp.
