I love to go bowling. I've been bowling without a ramp ever since I graduated h/s. My throw it very weak. It weeble wobbles all over the lane once it looses momentum. Has anyone else tried throwing a bowling ball? Sometimes my ball just hits the gutter. Once in a while I get mericle balls. My ball is a 10 pounder. I am just curious.

No, I have not . . . but your message has given me the courage to give it another try . . . I always loved bowling and should not let my new situation hold me back.

So THANKS for the encouragement!

God bless,

Jim

I am so happy that I inspired you to give it a shot. Bowling is tons of fun! Jim, don't let anything hold you back! Bowling is a good metaphore for life. Sometimes you end up in the gutter!

We took my son bowling and he used a guide. His shoulder was not strong enough to throw the ball from the chair. But he enjoyed it anway. Also, our local alley has ramps to help him down to the lane and they provided the ball guide. He gained some confidence from bowling realizing he can do lots of things he used to do - just do them differently! Keep working at it, I bet you will figure a way to get less gutter balls!
