Any body out there....have you mastered meditation? If so please give me a few pointers. I have tried but not been too successful at it. I hear it's wonderful, specially for anxiety and depression. I would like to have that wonderful feeling of well being regardless of my outer circumstances.

UPDATE ON MEDITATION
I have been doing yoga at home (with soft mood music). I meditate and focus on my body opening to forgiveness and letting go of the fears, resentments, illnesses and negative influences.
I see how the muscles and tendons stretch out easier and easier responding to the positive thoughts and the daily stretching and relaxation.
This is a good daily exercise and my mind is receiving these daily prayers (reprogramming) and positive affirmations of knowing that I'm getting better and better.... in return I am feeling better.
It takes some discipline getting out of your warm bed early enough before you must get on with the requirements of your day.
But I have to be honest with myself, if I don't get up and do something positive I would just lay in bed rehashing worries and future plans for the day, that may never take place.
I hope I can continue this practice as there are always things out of our control which come and ruin our good plans.
