Saw the gyn/onc surgeon today in the cities and he has scheduled me for a hysterectomy/exploratory surgery on Monday, July 6th. Hubby & I will travel down Sunday the 5th and check into the guest apartments. (We checked in today, and checked out the same day, having to pay the $65 dollar a night fee and didn't even get to enjoy the room!) Oh well.
Surgeon says he won't know anything until he gets "in there" and send tissue, etc. to pathology. He did feel the main tumor and it is quite large. He will also "stage" me at that time. I should be out of the hospital Thursday or Friday of next week, so not a long stay at all! I will keep all of you sweet ladies posted on my progress. (Will post after my surgery)
