I'm only in cycle 3 of a six cycle treatment in a phase 1 clinical study, but my CA 125 went down to 21 from 51 and the two nodes are now in millimeters. Just don't like the nausea, but I have the chemo two weeks on and one week off (no nausea then). Lots of anti nausea meds which do work.

zircons, what chemo are you on? Am researching as I may be facing chemo again soon for recurrence.

Sounds pretty good to me. Hope it keeps going down and you can celebrate right into remission.

I am on carbo, gemzar and Vironistat (which is the experimental drug. It has been used with lymphomas previously).

That is great news! So glad to hear that you are getting such good results!

Zircons, This is wonderful, wonderful news! I'm so sorry about the nausea. Will you be able to make it to the Ovations Symposium on the 26th?

I am planning on going on Sept 26 to the symposium, not the night thing.

I have the same plan as you. My oncologist, Dr. Campos is one of the speakers. She'll be talking about targeted therapies.

Wonderful news Zircons...hang in there and stay tough. I hope to see you on the 26th.

New problem. It was just discovered today that the pulp in one of my teeth has died. They recommend tooth removal, but I cannot have that done until after the chemo ends which won't be until mid November. So I will exist on Tylenol and Advil until the pain gets worse (which I hope it won't) and I will need something else. Always something, but I will remain positive because I have lots of things I want to do with my life.
