Vacation

Had chemo today and my doc gave me a big thumbs up for our vacation plans. We leave next week for Great Britain. We'll spend a couple of weeks visiting the London area and Scotland (where we have friends). I'll get chemo again two days after we get back. I'm really excited about this vacation. Feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Have a wonderful time. Try not to get too tired out, and if your white count is low, stay away from sick kids.

As a 1st generation scottish girl we did that type of trip last year. My girl cousin picked me and hubby up in Glasgow , then guy cousin picked up in in Edinburg and he drove us to St. Andrews. I want to hear all about it. Enjoy your time with no Chemo!!!

5 Year Stage IIIC Ovarian Survivor!

My husband and I just returned from a visit to Seattle (from Scottsdale, AZ) to see my son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids (20 months and 3 1/2 years old). Had a ball! Drove home down the Pacific Coast Highway with no real timeline or agenda. It was like falling in love all over again! I own a shoe store and have taken very little time off even with a laparotomy (2 weeks) and little, if any time off after chemo. I am very fortunate to have tolerated surgery and chemo so well but attitude is everything! I refuse to give power to my cancer and expect a full recovery. I love the strength and encouragement of this site. I read most of the postings and though I don't always have the time or experience to reply, I want to thank all of you. If you have the strength to travel, or play, or make love I recommend celebrating every day we have here on planet Earth!

Have a wonderful trip. Woo Hoo!!!

Have a great trip.
We are going to England a visit with my cousins and some sightseeing -- 10/19 through 10/28. I haven't been there in 30 years and am excited to visit.

Have a wonderful trip, enjoy yourself, you deserve a break. Stay away from sick people, especially on the plane.

Have a wonderful time!
