Jean, I think that is wonderful that you have met someone who shares your faith and values. I have a feeling when you do tell him he will be as nice about it as he has been till now. After all you have been through, you deserve someone wonderful in your life like him. Cindy

How exciting! Enjoy this time -- getting to know and appreciate each other. Butterflies in the stomach and smiling so much your face hurts. You deserve those great feelings - especially after having been through so much -- thank you for the update!! Thats great news--

Hi Powderpuff,
I have met alot of nice people on here thats why I asked there opinion. But why would I express an opinion against the other party? It's been a long time since I dated.The guy that I was with left me right after my chemo was finished. It took me 4 years to even want to try again.

Hello Jean1,

I had a talk (via e-mail) with Beth, one of the moderators here at Inspire. I was the one in the wrong. Before I blew my top and accused inspire of censoring me I should have checked into the matter.

What confused me is I never asked any political questions of anyone. I think what happened is I had left this site up while I took a nap. The only thing I can think of that happened is that my husband (a very politically motivated individual) came across a post that "was in error" to use his words. My guess is he responded to the post and due to its political nature some people objected and asked that the post be flagged.

While I don't know what was written and flagged I do have to agree with my husband in that there is no "Right" protecting someone from being offended. If something offends me, I just move on. I don't use the power of an official (governmental or Private concern) to censor someone. That just sems so petty.

Anyway, it is all water over the dam. Beth has allowed me to stay on and post my comments and I have agreed to read the rules more carefully and abide by them.

You are correct, there are a lot of nice people on this site and I have met many. I hope to meet more.

I have been sick for the past two weeks. The tumor was about gone, it was little tiny after the chemo and theropy so they scheduled my operation for May 28th but all of a sudden it started to grow again. I see a doctor on the 13th and I will have more information then.

Censorship, Yea I know what that is.A few weeks back my title was PU**Y CANCER.So, they said that it was not appropriate and that there are filters that people are not getting posts.I never knew that word is censored.So needless to say they wanted me to change the post just as you see above.I said no, it is correct.Now I told them if I wrote c***t cancer that would be politically incorrect.Go figure.So read on censorship.I posted the correct way to you, so are you going to take me off the site.Keep Positive

Powderpuff,

I'm so sorry the tumor is growing so rapidly. If it's any comfort, I had a clear cell tumor, one of the most aggressive types. After surgery and six rounds of carbo/taxol, I've shown no sign of recurrence since Nov., 2007.

Let us know when your surgery is. We'll by praying.

Powderpuff, so sorry to hear your tumor is growing so rapidly and just more to put on your mind. My prayers will be with you and hope the dotors can come up with a combination of "magic" to settle the beast down. Will keep you in my prayers.

Jean I feel a bit like a voyuer (sp?)listening in to a private but most exciting romantic interlude, but I am so excited for you and it makes me remember the little "feelings" thet go through your body when you pick up the phone and it's HIM. Lots of luck.

Hey Cat,

Yes, censorship is something that is difficult to get around. Actually, I remember reading your post before it was censored. I liked it! I did laugh alot which I am sure was your intentiion. Thank you.

A smile never hurts and a laugh lasts forever. I am surprised my post on Brian (my husband) making beaver wiggs got through. I agree with Hitlery, it does take a village - however, do not let the village speak for you when you have something to say and do not couch your words when your opinion is not of the major or mainstream politics. Shame on the censor police.

Well I'm back out there again looking again..guess this one wasn't meant to be. I'm acually having a nice time . I didn't feel like a girl for a long time after my hysterectomy. Why is that? Is that a hormone thing? Thanks to all of you for your support. Love, Jean

Hey Verlinda and dollycat6,

Things are not as well as we had hoped. I really wasn’t feeling well so I went to the doctor today instead of tomorrow. Yes, they can operate on the 28th of this month but they don't believe they will get all the cancer out. Secondly, the physical condition I will be left in after the operation is a very cruel joke. Twenty some years ago I had a hysterectomy and I dealt with that. It was scary then I guess due to my age but as it turned out, it was no big deal. Life went on and I have led a good life. Now, however, if I go through with this operation there will be a considerable change in my life. I am only forty-six and Brian still tells his friends how I can turn the heads of men half my age. I am down to 97 pounds so that really isn’t entirely true any more, but then I seldom leave the house so his little white lie is safe from being exposed. Anyway, the chemo and radiation actually caused a lot of damage. Even though the tumor was reduced considerably, there was considerable damage done as well. If I go through with the surgery they will remove EVERYTHING: vagina, rectum, and associated plumbing. The odds of my returning to work are slim due to the peculiar maintenance routine I would have to follow. This, we were not expecting. I am scheduled to visit with a counselor before the operation. Right now I am seriously considering letting the cancer just run its natural course – she had better be one hell of a counselor! Until then I will continue working on my website and finding financial aid and support for people that really need assistance. I will, of course, stay here as well and talk with the many good people I have met. If any of you live in the State of Georgia please feel free to stop by my site www.blcastels.com.
