Hi Ya'll,
You may remember a post from me about a month ago entitled "Treatment or Not?" My Gyne had sent me to an gyne-onca because of suspicion of ovca.
I had gotten some wonderful and appreciated advice from some of you about your experiences and whether or not to pursue treatment, if it did turn out to be ovca.
Well, I had surgery on the 27th of Oct. They removed my ovaries and fallopian tubes and did some biopsies.
I go back on the 12th for a post-op appt. and then will schedule a follow-up with the doctor. But everything looks good! I havn't talked to the Dr. myself after surgery, but my fiance asked him - How Good? - He replied with 99 point something good! I've said a whole lot of thank-you's to God, family and friends. I feel so very fortunate. I must admit though, I won't breathe completely easy until after the results of the biopsies come back. But I am a very thankful lady about now. Just wanted to share some good news with you all and let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
