Hi,
I'm on this journey with my mom who just beganher 3 rd round of chemo using Doxil. So far it's good without much nausea just a lot of tiredness. She says she feels some sensations in her abdomen though...not sure if that's from the drug or something else... Any advise with Doxil??

I finished 8 months of Doxil at the end of June. I didn't experience any problems with the abdomen or stomach. She should be sure to tell her doctor if it continues so he can monitor her.
I was very tired, had only mild nuasea and some hair thinning. The worst issues were mouth sores and skin problems, which showed up after about 4 months, so be on the watch for them. Doxil is tricky and some things don't show up right away - it's not like the other chemos. If she has any mouth sores or throat problems (like pain while swallowing), her doctor will have RX's to give her for them. If her skin starts acting up - extreme dryness, discoloration where clothing presses against it, cracking, red and peeling - be sure to tell the doctor. I had to take a 2-week chemo break because my ankles were so burned. Be sure your mom uses cream on her hands and feet everyday. I wish her the best and hope it works for her.
