Is this the Mimosa trial?

I read about it and the trial was a phase 2 for women who had NED after initial treatment. I have that criterion but opted for maintenance anyway. I think the trial is closed but it looked very promising from the early results. Not perfect but good.

Patricia,

I am not sure if this is the same as the Mimosa or not. It all looks promising and hopefully researchers will have a breakthrough in the near future for ovarian!

Hi,

This is not the mimosa trial, which is currently closed to new participants. I am currently in the mimosa trial and have been since 1/07 and will be for a total of 45 months. I get a shot every 28 days and so far so good. These new vaccines look very promising and I hope that they keep coming up with more of them.

Regards,
Katie

Amazing your post about the mimosa trial you are on. Do you mind if I ask you if they gave it after initial chemo and what your status was?

I think the one described here might be the one they use tumor for,,somebody was on it.

Hi,

I had to enter the trial within 60 days of completing chemo and had to be completely cancer free. I was stage IIIb and my operaton was in 2/6 and I completed chemo in 11/06. I agree the trial that is posted here is most likely the one made from tumors.
Regards,
Katie
