Hi my name is Maggie and i am 14. I am quite worried about ovarian cancer because I have all the symptoms. Is it possible that i have it at this age ??

Please go see your gynocologist, my primary care doctor totally missed my cancer. I had all the classic symptoms. Good Luck

With the symptoms being so general, it might be nothing. But it's always a good idea to see your doctor. Just in case. I mean I'm only 23 and I was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Hello, Maggie...I agree with the advice the other girls have given to you. What exactly are your symptoms? And do you have someone to talk to who can help you to find a doctor who can find out if there is a problem?

Hi Maggie-
Actually my name is Maggie too & I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer at the age of 15!! So, Yes it is very possible for this to happen, though quite rare! There was no history of this disease in my family either so if you are concerned... please find a doctor & get tested for piece of mind! I was very lucky, it was stage 2 & I am now almost 39 yrs old (next month). Take care & be well!!

Hi Maggie. I don't think it is very common, but it is possible to have ovarian cancer at your age. What symptoms do you actually have? The symptoms of ovarian cancer are similar to those of other less serious issues as well. I agree with FavoriteAunt - this is too hard to figure out on your own. Please talk to someone in your family, and see your doctor as soon as possible to rule out anything serious.......and yes, please let us know how it goes.

Hi Maggie,
You are so young and cannot possibly figure this out by yourself. Do you have family you can discuss this with? Most importantly, you should let someone help you find a good doctor and go for a checkup. Your symptoms could very well be from something else, but let a doctor decide what is going on. It is very good that you are so aware of your health, so please be sure to get this checked as soon as possible. Let us know how you make out. Good luck.
